Soybean Varieties Respond to the Shade of Teak Trees

Background: Light is one of the environmental factors that greatly affect growth and yield crops in general, including soybean plants. The purpose this study was to determine effect shade on components varieties. Methods: research method a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. first factor kind variety which consisted two levels, i.e., Dena I Anjasmara. second level shading, four 0, 10-20, 20-30 30-40%. Result: results showed decreased number filled pods, dry pod weight per plant, 100 seeds seed ha-1. As increases, lower component yields increases. decrease ha-1 at 30-40% 22, 14 50%, respectively, while Anjasmara 9, 49 59%. Shade decreases In higher shade, reduction will increase.
